Historical Village Trips

Some of our Whānau had the privilege to visit the Howick Historical Village as part of their Social Science and NZ Histories learning. The students participated in three activities: butter churning, court session and communication.

During the communication session, students were in a classroom that dated back to the 1800s. They learnt braille, semaphore and morse code. The students were fascinated by the old architecture.
