AIMS 2024
61 of our students were in Tauranga, representing Howick Intermediate at the 2024 AIMS Games Competition.
The school entered teams for mixed hockey, girls netball, rugby 7's, rip rugby and football. There were also students taking part in individual events for gymnastics, badminton, swimming, rock climbing and canoe slalom. The teams were very enthusiastic despite unpredictable weather and unexpected illnesses.
All the competitors put in a great effort and have done our school proud.
Thank you to the managers and coaches who invested so much time into preparing and supporting the athletes. It was wonderful to have so many parent supporters who traveled to Tauranga to cheer on our sporting stars. The week was enjoyed by all.
