EPRO 8

EPRO 8 is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about solving engineering problems in a fun and engaging way.

This year we competed in a school wide challenge over two days to find out which two teams would represent our school at the Inter school competitions. Students showed their creativity, and problem solving skills by creating an earthquake platform in the first round. It had to be built according to a set of criteria and teams were awarded points based on meeting each set of criteria. Teams were only given 90 minutes to complete this challenge. Fourteen teams competed and the top 7 teams went through to the final round held the following day.

The finals were 120 minutes long and consisted of a choice of three problems that the teams would had to solve. Competition was fierce and it went down to the very last minute.

Congratulations to the following students who will be representing our school on the 25th of September for the first round of the Inter school competition. They are Carlos T. Sheldon S. Seth D. and Archi G. making up the first team. Luka B.C. Simon Z. Claire S. and Sam A. making up the second team.
