We were very lucky to be chosen for an author visit from Storyline Trust who take authors all over New Zealand to connect with students and create a love of reading and writing.
The author Mary-Anne Scott come for a visit with Whānau Mansfield.
She talked about the whys of writing and reading, her books, and how she came up with the ideas for her stories.. We were blessed with her singing to us after sharing her pearls of wisdom.
